AESSEAL® has announced today that it is now an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO). AEO certification is an attractive status that an export business can obtain to keep goods moving; removing some of the difficulties and time lost through crossing borders, customs checks and in particular could play a fundamental part in the event of a possible ‘no deal’ Brexit.
This internationally recognised status is a global mark of quality that shows that the company’s international supply chain is efficient, compliant and secure. AESSEAL® is one of just 1011 UK businesses to date that have obtained this ahead of Brexit.
AESSEAL® has achieved AEOC (customs simplification) status which will lend itself to a reduction of administration, lesser chance of any customs related delays and improved security on all of our global exports. It will also show traceability through the flow of goods.
Whilst more businesses like AESSEAL® obtain this standard, the pressure will be on other UK businesses to comply. AESSEAL® is proud to lead by example.
A spokesperson for the company said, “Now that we have AEOC status, it means we are fully prepared, with or without a ‘no deal’ Brexit. Our customers will be able to rest assured that we are doing everything possible to ensure we are able to continue and improve the level of service we pride ourselves on.
