Tilting pad bearing protection from AESSEAL®
Following on from the success of the LabTecta®66 range of bearing protection, AESSEAL® have announced the launch of the NEW LabTecta®TP designed for the protection of tilting pad bearings.
Providing the ideal solution, these bearing protectors are most suitable for use on heavy duty rotating equipment, the NEW LabTecta®TP. Tilting pad bearings have sectional pads on pivots accommodating a high axial load on the equipment shaft. The LabTecta®TP is designed to allow up to 0.025" axial movement.
Similar to the rest of the LabTecta® range, this new labyrinth bearing protector incorporates all of the usual fantastic benefits such as the non-contact design that ensures no wear to the shaft or sleeve and the prevention of water and dust ingress (to IP66), leaving maintenance free bearing protection for tilting pad bearings.
