One off AESSEAL Bearing Isolator fitted to an electric motor completed the specified High Pressure Water Spray (IPX9K) test without any apparent signs of damage or deterioration. The High Pressure Water Spray (IPX9K) test was carried out on the AESSEAL Bearing Isolator twice. For the first test the motor was unpowered and the shaft remained static. For the second test the motor was powered and the shaft rotated at 3600 rpm. The AESSEAL Bearing Isolator when fitted to the electric motor satisfied the requirements of ISO 20653:2013 IPX9K.
